Rules and Policies (2023)

All campers and visitors on Lukens Lake Resort property must agree to and abide by these rules.

“Be Considerate of Your Fellow Campers” Rules:
•    Noise must be contained within your own campsite.
•    Barking or biting dogs will not be tolerated.
•    Pets must be on leashes, poop must be picked up.
•    Campsites need to be clean and cleared of trash.
•    All vehicles must have a quiet muffler.
•    Quiet hours are from 10pm – 9am.
•    ATV, UTV, Motorcycle, etc. track time is 10am-8pm. No trail riding on the roads.
•    ATVs, UTVs, Motorcycles, Golf Carts, etc. must be approved by management, must have proof of insurance and must understand where they can be ridden.
•    Clean up after yourself when using our bathroom facilities.
•    If you can’t flush a toilet, stay at home.
•    Boundaries… Do not walk through your neighbor’s campsite uninvited.
•    Stay on campground property and campground property only.
•    Leave our trees alone. No dog chains, no nails, no screws or fasteners of any kind.
•    Modifications to our campsites must be approved by management (includes tree trimming, digging, building, adding gravel or changing the direction your camper faces).
•    Parties in the camper's pavilion must be approved by management. No alcohol in the pavilion.

Safety Rules:
•    You are responsible for your guests and their actions. You must ensure they are signed in & informed of our campground rules.
•    You are responsible for you and your children’s actions.
•    Kid’s curfew is from 10pm-8am weekdays and 11pm-8am weekends.
•    Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult or a responsible person, anywhere.
•    No biting or aggressive dogs/pets of any kind.
•    Public intoxication will not be tolerated. Alcohol not permitted in public buildings (beach, concession, camper's pavilion, bathhouse, etc).
•    Glass bottles are to be disposed of properly.
•    No drinking and driving of ANY kind.
•    All state alcohol laws are applicable here.
•    All state boating/fishing laws are applicable here.
•    No riding outside the fencing of pontoon boats (i.e. front bow).
•    Swimming on our property is only allowed in beach area, within beach hours, according to beach rules.
•    You can swim off of your own boat (state laws applicable). Note: no swimming off our rental boats
•    Golf carts and all other vehicles must have an operating headlight.
•    Unlicensed vehicles must have proof of insurance, no exceptions.
•    Children ages 15 and up may be permitted to operate ATVs, UTVs, Motorcycles, Golf Carts, etc. on our campground roads by themselves. We reserve the right to determine who is mature enough.
•    The speed limit is 5 miles per/hr.
•    Firearms and handguns are allowed ONLY by my (CJ Steiner - Owner) explicit permission to carry, no exceptions. Those who are permitted must sign a separate contract.
•    No aerial fireworks without permission.
•    All campfires must be contained.
•    Only trash and garbage generated here in the campground is allowed to be put in our dumpsters.

Indiana State Laws:
•    No dumping of any kind. If caught dumping prohibited items (posted on dumpsters), items will be returned to your site and a fine of $50 will be added to your bill.
•    Garbage goes only in our dumpsters.
•    Gray water and black water are to be disposed of properly.
•    Waste water must be in approved containers and must be functioning correctly.
•    All hookups (electrical, water and waste) must be up to code.
•    Only firewood, not trash, should be burnt in campfires.
•    Firewood is to be kept 6” above grade.
•    Firewood brought in from other places must be approved.
•    No illegal drugs
•    Licensed vehicles must be driven by licensed drivers.

***Breaking the rules may result in ejection from our property***

Ignorance of the rules is no excuse.

This property is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to our guests or for the loss of money or valuables of any kind.
